Celebrities and Spirited Driving

Recently I was thinking about the optics of a politician in a performance car, wouldn’t look good. Then questioned the fact there will be celebrities out there who like their cars who will like to put their foot down as many of us do on a country road.

I’m sure there will be members in PH who have had a little “play” or spirited drive following a celebrity or with a celebrity behind them?

Vernon Kay is one for me, in his high power Nissan GTR, he certainly puts his foot down.

I seem to recall a post on here many years ago from a chap in his Honda (Can't remember which model) having a spirited play with an NSX on a windy A-road - turned out to be Jenson Button driving the NSX

Lots of politicians, from local councillors upwards, drive performance cars. There's even an All Party Parliamentary Historic Vehicles Group for MPs and Lords who prefer classic cars: http://www.historicvehicles.org.uk
