Oil pressure low check engine

Hi,

So many of you may have seen my name due to the controversial post regarding mechanic stolen my car, but need further advice!
My jaguar xf is currently off road due to it needing brake calipers, discs and pads. Instead of scraping money together to fix it (after spending lots of money on my bmw x3 broken phalange) decided to tax and insure the 2011 insignia to bide time to sort the money out. When my ‘mechanic’ gave me back the insignia back, whilst driving it comes up as engine pressure low stop engine it beeps at me whenever I am at a stand still and goes off when driving. Other than checking the oil level is there anything this could be? It might be worth noting that as a gesture of good will for taking the pee out of me, he changed the oil filter just before giving me it back?

So st, I have 3 cars and none of them work at the moment! 😂

If it's a 2.0 litre diesel it will most likely be the oil pickup seal in the sump. Very common on these. Probably shouldn't drive it any more until it is sorted!

If this warning has only started since the oil service then either not enough oil or filter installed incorrectly. Anything else would be quite a coincidence.

Assume no obvious leaks around filter, drain plug? What is the oil level?

Yes no obvious leaks that I can see, have read about the pick up so will look into that! Thanks!
