Business insurance query

Hi folks, I need some advice here. I've got a 335d touring that I use for work, and as such need a business policy (no fixed place where I park each week.) My recent renewal was the same as a brand new driver - over £2000, and this as a 40yo driver with a clean license and no recent claims. Adrian flux can't help either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you say no fixed place to park it, do you not have a house?

Surely you just give that address as you would for normal insurance. You are just adding the fact that you use the car for business.

Unfortunately not - the car is away from home for 5 days at a time, so it can't be insured as overnight at home all the time. It's a specific policy type. An added complication is that it needs to be insured anywhere in the uk

No car can be insured as at home every night.

People go on holiday with their car, people stay overnight at hotels with their car.

Not really sure what the problem is.

You insure the car at your home address, and cover it for business use. You can then keep it overnight wherever you happen to be doing business. I'm also not seeing the problem?

Can you articulate why you're different from anyone else who uses their own car for business and stays away on business in the UK for days on end?
