How many cars do you have?

A random thought that occurred to me. I have always assumed car people will always have more than one car, I have always had more than 1 since I was 22.

Curious to see if I am right or wrong.

4 currently, and they all have engines in them.

I did try the "do it all 1 car route" a few years ago, but that didn't work for me. So if funds allow I always recommend having at least 2.

1 individually. 2 in the household.

3 for the household would be ideal for us but don’t have the space nor the inclination yet

Four currently, two of which are on the road, a further one is SORN and soon to be disposed of and the forth has been in the same state of disassembly for 10 years.

I live on my own so I have two in case one needs a service or is off the road for any other reason. And they serve vastly different purposes.

I have questions....

do you drive them all? insure and tax them? where do you park them? are they all completely different types of vehicles?

It is mad isn't it?! You'd need a decent amount of space to keep that many cars as well. Plus I'd tie myself in knots remembering when to tax/insure them etc etc too.

Interesting. My instinct was correct then.

Genuinely surprised by the number that are more than say 3 or 4 though.
