Car related Clothing/Merch ?

On the Ferrari vs Porsche drivers thread, Ferrari Clothing and Merch has been mentioned, got me thinking (it can happen....)

Do you wear any car related stuff or, do you like myself generally avoid it ?

All I have is a "Project Binky" (YouTube build of 4wd Mini thats gone a bit Lord Lucan-ish) T shirt my brother got me, I wear it, its a bit worn out now and the logo has disappeared (a bit like the project...)

I wouldn't wear a Ferrari shirt, as I dont own a Ferrari and the only thing more tragic to me than wearing a Ferrari Shirt when you dont own one is wearing a Ferrari Shirt if you do own one. There is a bloke locally that has an awful lot of Ferrari branded stuff, dont think he has a Ferrari though. Its ok if its the F1 Team or you are under 13,

I once had a peugeot motorsport jacket coat.

I drove a Peugeot at the time and was on good terms with the dealership, so it was thrown in on a new car deal

I wouldn't wear a car piece of clothing whilst driving the same make of car, always makes you look like a real car bore.

I have a Jeep T-shirt, got it as an incentive when buying a new Jeep. Also got Mustang T-shirts and sweatshirts, came from the MOCGB store.

I have a lotus t shirt that was gifted to me one year by ph secret Santa. That gets worn in the garage.

A few team and event polos for events I have spannered in, also worn in the garage and on race days.

Some biker t’s like these which get worn in public, usually when doing bikey things. You’ve got all the gear on anyway so why not

Got lots of Alfa Romeo & Abarth baseball caps.

Some Alfa Owners Club jackets, hoodies & Gilets.

Also a nice Caffeine & Machine hoodie.

As the main petrolhead in the family, I've accumulated a few "branded" things for various marques over the years including mugs, umbrellas, sunglasses, bags, t-shirts, keyrings, torch, hats, etc. A branded jacket might be a step too far, although in my Scooby days they were all the rage, especially in the Welsh forests for the WRC, along with scarves and "wooly" hats!

The problem arises when you work in the industry and over the years amass £000's worth of often fairly high quality car branded clothes.

Then start to resent spending equal amounts on unbranded clothes when you have perfectly good branded merch.

All of which leads to 90% of the time looking like Joey off of Friends with his Porsch-e!

I've never owned a camper van (or have any desire to) but the amount of randoms who came up to me wanting to chat about them was amazing. Conversations tended to be over very quickly though

I’ve got some Gas Monkey T-shirts and I did have a pair of TVR trainers. They weren’t branded, but they leaked when it rained.

I've got plenty of car themed t-shirts knocking about with all manner of arty shots on them but I don't think I've got any motoring branded item. I don't even think I've got a mug with a car brand on it now I think about it.

I don't mind a subtle t-shirt or jacket that's got branding on it. If you want Ferrari or whatever on a jacket and you like it then fine. I'm not much a fan of the walking billboards that the millionaires get paid to wear and us peasants would have to pay to wear though.

Got one of these caps because i think he's a dude and nobody really knows the brand.

I hardly buy clothes, so this was an indulgence. I wore it all summer and literally ones of people noticed across France and Spain.

I also have a 2009 Brawn GP Polo shirt with Button on the lapel/back, never worn, BNWT, because someday it will appreciated to over £50million and the UK taxman will sting me for half of it in CGT
