I'll tell you where I'm at , I won't be investing $3M on this and I'm out .

Not a good investment at $3M .

I know someone who inherited one of the largest prop collections in the world. Upon sale, many made a loss against purchase price. The odd headline item did very well, but it could never be considered a sensible investment.

The companies that sell and resell them do spectacularly well from such things, but the rest of us would be demonstrably better off chucking it into a decent wealth management company.

TL;DR: Don't pretend hobbies are investments. They normally aren't. (Except MY cars, of course! laugh )

I'm prepared to be wrong, but I'm not convinced there's a market for ten of these.

In a world where someone will pay $6m for a banana taped to a wall anything is possible.

Nonetheless if I had the money, I’d not be a buyer of the Batmobile or a banana artwork.
