Le shuttle with trailer and second car

Does anyone have actual experience of taking a second car on a trailer with Le Shuttle ? And if so what paperwork was checked etc for the second car and was it logged as leaving the UK ? I want to take a classic car to the continent but not necessarily bring it back very quickly. I know with a motorbike in the back with luggage, they didn’t bat an eyelid. Didn’t ask for short term export or anything. But I’m thinking a car on a trailer they might log it out of the UK. The car is a classic, over 40 years, MOT and tax exempt. Fully UK insured, V5 in my name.

A friend had his GT40 in a covered trailer.
They drove straight through - The French side didn't know what or wasn't inside.
It's UK - Netherlands where there have been some problems, I think.
Someone might come along with some actuality about this.
I think the historic racers have had some problems on the Dutch side in the recent past.
It wasn't so simple when I went Hull - Rotterdam.
It turned out okay.
The UK side were twitchy about the Dutch side and didn't want me to get over and then have problems there.
As it turned out I drove straight through with the car on a trailer, visible.
The Hull side didn't say but I do believe they telephoned through; something went on.
As long as you have your docs, V5C and it's road registered it'll be fine.
