Service top up

My car went in for an oil change service from the dealer I bought it from last week as part of the pre pack deal. A day or two later I checked the fluid levels (which were listed as being checked and topped up) and found this


And

Their opinion and once if my colleagues is that both are within range so it's fine. Mine is that when topped up they should be at max. They may have got a would not recommend response on their satisfaction survey.
Am I being unreasonable?

I’d be happy with both levels to he honest.

Both levels are fine and not in need of a top up per sé, it's just that most people prefer to be at the top even if it makes no difference.

Looks fine to me.

Not too fussed about the coolant as that can often find its own level irrespective of the markings on the expansion tank.
However, I would be annoyed about the oil level not being topped up to the max mark and would probably take this as an opportunity to have an extra oil + filter change carried out.

Oil and dipstick looks grubby, what car is it ?

Thing is, it snow your car, just crack on and do it better than they did.

Looks like the consensus is it's just me being used to older cars and topping up to the top!

Unless it's a diesel that's not fresh oil.

But I'd just top it up if it keeps you happy.

Coolant is fine as the min vs max allow for heat expansion...

Oil should be on the max though and more worryingly it doesn't look like it's been changed recently!!

It is a diesel about 150miles after a change.
