Insurance comparison for multiple different cars
Discussion
Hi All,
Is there a car insurance comparison site or quote site where you can change what car you are looking to insure without having to reconfirm every other detail of the quote?
I was looking at the usual suspects for insurance quotes for my daughter's first car, but every time you change the registration plate (looking at multiple models and insurance cost a primary factor) you've got to scroll through every other page you've completed reconfirming every other detail when only the car has changed, and it's driving me to the edge.
I was just going to look at insurance groups, but the quotes are quite different for cars in the same group, which makes me think their algos go way past insurance group these days.
Cheers!

In my experience, if I recall correctly, once you have registered then each of the main comparison sites retain your details. So you can change the car, or save and when you return your details will be there. Is there a car insurance comparison site or quote site where you can change what car you are looking to insure without having to reconfirm every other detail of the quote?

Yeah, the other details are still there. But there's 8 pages of them and I'm too lazy to click through them time after time to get a rough idea of the insurance cost on various different makes and models that are in contention. Nicks90 said:
Pretty sure it was on conparethenarket that when the list of quotes comes up you have a panel to the left with quick edits for things like excess etc.
One of those is "car" and you just punch the new reg in and then press update quote.
I updated my quote on Comparethemarket yesterday, and there was still the clicking through the pages faff. One of those is "car" and you just punch the new reg in and then press update quote.
