Yes you know whom they are, the sort who you give way to at a roundabout to find they sail off left meaning you stopped for nothing. It's not particularly dangerous but it's so frustrating. Please make it stop!

Never trust a flashing indicator...all it shows is that the bulb works!

The most pointless job at the BMW factory...the indicator bulb fitter!

Got to the stage i now find myself putting my hand up in thanks if someone indicates correctlly, especially if i'm in the truck and their doing so allows me to maintain motion.

I can't see the indicators on modern cars anyway. Hidden by the DRL glare.

The only thing worse than not indicating is indicating wrong.

I've seen a few people recently who genuinely seem to think that you indicate right to signal your intention to leave a roundabout. They don't indicate and then start indicating right as they leave!

Particularly annoying in my village (busy two roads) where there mini roundabouts (low speed) and people (in cars and pedestrians) see a car not indicating (so you assume going straight on) only for them to turn left without indicating. Causes unnecessary waiting and congestion.

Also many in left lane, indicating right but end up going straight on!

Especially at roundabouts turning left like you describe really irritates me. There is a special place in hell for those people.

My ex girlfriend’s dad used to do that.

I was too scared of him to say anything though

Then theres those who are driving along, brake, then at some point (if at all) before they turn, they put the appropriate indicator on.

So for that period of time - you've no idea whether they're braking to stop, braking to turn left, or braking to turn right.

People seem to have forgotten - Mirror, indicate, maneuver, where braking is part of the maneuver.

You’ve just described almost the entire population of Italy. In their defence, it must be difficult for them as one hand appears to be obliged to be holding a ‘phone at all times.

Manoeuvre, signal, mirror seems to be commonplace these days, with the guilty parties thinking an indicator is not just a flashing a bulb, it's absolute confirmation of their right of way.

We have this at the little mini roundabout heading into the shopping centre in Oban.
Folk driving in approach the T junction/mini roundabout and most, probably 90% will be turning left. Most indicate but some don't and you just know they're going to turn right. But they don't they turn left. The ones turning right tend to indicate.

I've witnessed this recently and thought they made an error except they did it again at the next roundabout. WTF is going on??? They're signally right and turning left??!

Witnessed a 208 panda car indicate at exactly same time as they pulled out into 2nd lane yesterday.
