New Car Inport

Recently Imported a New Scooby from Japan all ok, it’s now showing on DVLA as MOT and Taxed. What I am not having any joy with is seeing the registration and model appearing on any insurance websites. It’s been 2 weeks now, i thought it would have shown up by now, any thoughts?

Sometimes they never appear. Also 2 weeks isn't that long to wait.

My current car is my first Jap import. The loose ends took forever. Despite being given a UK reg, it was insured initially against its VIN. It's petrol but according to the DVLA has a D in its model name. It doesn't. I tried several times and gave up in the end. If there's a faeces and fan situation, I'll say I thought it was D for Deluxe.
