I need to keep a tablet-like device on my dashboard when driving.

So I need some sort of rubber grip on the back to stop it sliding off.

I'm looking on Amazon but most of the rubber feet look too hard.

I'm after very soft, high-grip, single-side adhesive.

Can anyone recommend?

Not sure what you’re googling for but anti slip dash mat gets what I was thinking of.

Flexible rubberised cloth type thing. Non stick, will hold a tablet no problem.

Just sat flat on top of the dash without falling off, or in a specific location angle so you can see/interact with the screen?

(Anyone else nosy about a tablet like device but stored flat on dash?)

Just buy a suitable holder to mount it in.

Absolutely. I use that stuff in various places, including the car, and it does the trick. The anti-slip mat in my car is there to keep a couple of soft toys in position on the dashboard; they stay put under all but the most challenging conditions.

I also use it to keep the laptop still whilst working at home - for some reason my old work machine had a tendency to creep about the desk in response to the forces exerted on it by typing.

B&M, and places like it, sell rolls of the stuff.

That’s the stuff I use on top of the dash. If the mat slips, just put some blue tack at each corner.
