Anyone suggest something half decent that doesn't end up twisted and moving around.

(for a Mini R56)

We have just thrown out some JCW rubber ones which you could of had. Bad timing sorry!

carmats.co.uk work well for us, they won’t come with floor mounts though, so buy separately

Don’t get the cheapest ones, they’re like office carpet smile

I bought mine from carmats uk didn't have fixings

Just stick some velcro under the mats i use the hook bit only works a treat they don't move at all on the original carpet

Another endorsement for CarMats.co.uk I went for the “Executive” level/thickness and very happy with the fit/thickness - For a few quid more you can even get them embroidered/customised…

I have bought several set of mats from Carmats4U.co.uk, I have tended to go for their rubber floor mats but I'd assume the quality across the range is good.

I have not experienced them slipping or moving around and have holes for the clips. A good fit and not overly expensive.

I’ve pissed around with all sorts, buy cheap buy twice

I typically go with oem rubber mats from eBay, but double them up

Have seen online ads for Michelin rubbers mats which look good and are shaped by make/model. Don't know what the quality's like though. Anyone?

I’ve tended to go for carpet with rubber heel mat inset. Have to agree about avoiding the cheapest, over the years I’ve gone for just one notch up in quality and changed them annually ( depending on what sort of winter we get) . Economic sense.

It's a pity you can't just buy a drivers mat only, as it's always the drivers heel spot that wears.

My car is 11 years old, has original LR carpet mats still looking as good as new. I clean them with interiors shampoo and power wash them every 6 months or so, hanging them up to dry for a couple of days.

I've always gone OEM. Tried carmats a few years back but made a mistake and went for the cheapest versions - they were awful.
