Why are there web portals so terrible, both use the same underlying portal, albeit white labelled, impossible to navigate, slow and says you are not connected to internet at the bottom, irrespective of device/browser, yet still let you navigate what you can find so clealry are connected to the interent.

is it to force you to use the apps.
