Grinnall trikes
Discussion
When I was a 17 yr old in the Neolithic period, I was lucky enough to be allowed to drive the Scorpion prototype as a friend of my parents was a pal of Mark Grinnall's.
He was a very trusting man to throw me the keys with a closing remark "Enjoy it, please don't crash it as I have a lot riding on this"
I had little to benchmark it to as I had a Rover 213 as my first car at the time, but it felt unbelievably fast, handled very well and felt very special. Sounded good too, with a BMW bike engine if memory serves.
It had no reverse gear, so I had to get out and push it when I went the wrong way down a lane.
Very happy memory!

Has anyone here had any experience of riding Grinnall trikes?
Like to get an idea of what they are like to ride. Post stroke my 1974 BMW looks to be a bit too heavy for me
Thanks guys
Charles
No, but a bloke in the village had a dodgy hip, which meant he couldn’t get his leg over, bought a Can am trike, which went well, this sort of thing : https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a16581130/200...Like to get an idea of what they are like to ride.
