The fun starts at 3:30. rofl

The rocks are there to stop people driving over the water main, but they've clearly failed. Anyone know if Severn Trent will charge me to fix the cover which has been smashed up?

The car is a complete nail of a thing. The drivers front wing is stoved in and there's not a straight panel on it. Toying with reporting to Evri but I don't wish the old fella to lose his job.

Maybe I'm the only one - but I feel for the driver. Needs to be something at eye level instead of a barely visible rock since also watching the road to pull out. Obviously you yourself know it's there.

hehe Poor guy, you can see the dismay kick in as he realises what's happened. Lucky he didn't break the sump though.

Also, one for the misspaced plates thread? wink

I feel for him too. However, it's not just one barely visible rock, it's 3 arrange in a pyramis shape and at least 2.5' off the ground!

Somehow laughing at what looks to be someone of at least late middle age, with a limp, getting into a pickle like that while having to shlep parcels for a bit of money in the pocket doesn't seem quite right to me.

The sort of mistake that really can happen to any of us. Even if you think it can't.

Looks like a pensioner (or someone close to that age) supplementing his income with parcel deliveries (for which he is being paid the absolute minimum per drop).

His car didn't look too bad either until he connected with that rock.

As for the missaced number plate - that deserves a mention in that other thread. tsk!

Can’t beat this place for an OP pile on! hehe

For those telling me the drivers financial situation, thanks! None of us really know though do we? For all we know he’s doing it to get out the house

Yep completely agree.

The skoda driver reversing into oncoming traffic and not offering to help an old man .... well words fail me. Well they don't but I'd get banned. Who wouldn't help an old man like that out (aside form the Skoda driver)?

I did offer through the window, as it happens and he said he would sort it out himself. I drove in, sorted my kids out (post school run) and then went immediately back out to move the rock. As you can see in the video

Fair enough, in which case I apologise. I hadn't assumed you were the Skoda driver.
