Hi all,

My wife has a April 2023 Vauxhall Mokka GS (auto) 1.2 which we have had from new.

The insurance is up for renewal, I am doing a comparison site search and one of the questions is does it have a Thatcham 1 Immobiliser/alarm?

I have been on Vauxhalls own website and it says it is fitted with a "Ultrasonic alarm"

I have rung Vauxhall's helpline, a guy who could hardly speak English said I'll go away and find out.....I hung up after being on the phone fifteen minutes, listening to some ste music. punch

I rang my local main Vauxhall dealer, the woman on the service says I will get back to you within 48 hrs. yikes

I have been on Thatcham's own website, the list of cars is out of date ffs!

Help!

Rant over!

It'll be a thatcham two. The base version. Thatcham one includes perimeter alarms etc, often the aftermarket ones

I thought it might, I assume it will have an immobiliser?

Yes factory fitted. Don't overthink it.

I’ve had this, Thatchams database on line stops around 2012, the manufacturer doesn’t know, and the insurer don’t have an option for ‘standard factory fitted’.
