I'm after a set of pressed metal plates.

I travel abroad often so would like to have the 'UK' identifier on there to avoid using the oval sticker. However I don't want any emblems or flags as I prefer a cleaner look. A simple blue flash with the UK text would be great (similar to SRB, BIH, and TR plates for example) like in this picture.

However I'm having trouble finding anything like this. Does anyone know where I could get some? Or a company that does custom metal number plates

I know it’s not what you are asking but what about plain pressed plates and use one of the magnetic ‘UK’ ovals when you are abroad rather than a permanent sticker.

They won't stick to the tailgate as it's aluminium so unfortunately not an option

Messaged them this afternoon, unfortunately they can't do them without the flag.

What’s the benefit of steel pressed plates?

More durable and shouldn't fade, crack, or delaminate like plastic ones often do.

Fair enough. Not sure I’ve ever seen them here

They were more common back in the day, but they disappeared when '4D' plates became a popular thing with the chavs

I’m sure I had a set of plates made here for one of my vehicles and no flag, although maybe regs have changed -

Thank you I'll get in touch. It seems they do the UK but it has the flag on. I'll see if they can take it off.
