So today I nudged into a cyclist at a junction, they went to go, hesitated, stopped and my car rolled into them. Bending her back wheel a bit but, as her feet were on the floor, the seat had gone into her back. We are talking rolling 1mph speed. Her bicycle was a road bike with thin wheels.

She's claiming back pain and tissue damage, she's gotta be off work and Uber costs and suspecting she needs psychotherapy. So it looks like I'd have to go via Insurance for the first time in 22 years driving.

Just wanted to know the costs of premiums on renewal after a fault claim?

My trade insurance isn't even allowing phone calls even though their website says 24h claims line. Odd.

Someone went into the side of my car last year, I was expecting a big increase.

In reality, my insurance premium halved.

I think as it's not your fault it was taken into consideration. Or did you change broker and didn't declare the claim?

I declared it, documented it and it was determined 50/50 because it was a roundabout (I was exiting, other driver drove into my car to exit too). The claim cost was £0 because neither party opted to do repairs.

It wasn't my fault in my opinion. My opinion makes no difference.

Impossible for anyone to answer including currently your Insurer.
It may go up it may stay the same or if you shop around at renewal it may even go down !
