Is there anyway on how I can find out what traffic delays were on a road for a certain historical time period?

For example, delays on Friday 17 October 2025 on the A66 between 13:00 and 18:00

Whereabouts on A66? It goes from Workington to Middlesbrough, so coast to coast?

Try the Facebook A66 page...

Great - thanks for your help. I’m interested in the stretch around Barnard Castle.

Local news sites sometimes have reports, which the Google AI will find if you ask "what happened on the A66 road on 16th September" or whatever. It will also find things on social media.

Given that local bulletins on line from police, motoring associations, or breakdown recovery firms are often out of date when you are seeking info for the immediate day, you many find some of these still hanging about.
