If we were to look at running more regular free competitions on PistonHeads, what sort of prizes would you like to see? We generally aim for prizes in the region of £100 - £500. Appreciate any feedback and ideas you all have!

The ability to switch off every bit of advertising, tracking and so on, for a year, on PH.

Off the top of my head and not necessarily for me.

Car cleaning kits (or "detailing" - I still think it's a stupid word 20 years on).

Enough oil for an oil change.

A car check for your next purchase, with no end date.

A track day (at various tracks).

A supercar experience day (which is more than just seeing a Ferrari from afar (2km away) unless you upgrade to the actually-drive-a-car-for-more-than-3-seconds at an upsell of £400).

An advanced driving day.

An aircon refill/topup thing.

It required a google... but now that I've done that, my only question: what am I supposed to do with the other 2 minutes?

Lower than your range, a Car vertical check would be a good one for those changing cars

See if you can partner with manufacturers PR ppl to offer something that'll be a memorable experience, something a bit special.

A few years ago I got to drive an E-Type at Jaguar Classic
https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
it was a really fun and memorable day out with fellow petrolheads and some v special historic cars, the kind of experience that stays with you.

So if you can swing something like that, I think it would be cool - and could also be written up as a source of content for the site.

Came to say essentially this exact thing.

Removal of all the utterly irrelevant ads, especially the ones that appear about 4 times as wide as the content on mobile devices meaning that scrolling around is a mess.
