Hi. I have a Lexus with Tirana run flats which seem to generate a lot of tyre roar. Has anyone changed to normal tyres and noticed a significant improvement in tyres in recent his area - particularly noise reduction??
(I realise I will need some tyre gunk and a pump if I do this ).
Thanks

There are many non runflats that ALSO generate a lot of tyre noise. I don't think it's a runflat/non runflat issue. Runflats are a trade off between ride comfort (on some roads) and convenience. My Goodyear EfficientGrip runflats work for me.

Some tyres come with a foam insert bonded to the carcass to reduce tyre noise

Pirelli's is called PNCS: Pirelii Noise Cancelling System

To the OP consider seeing if something is suitable
