What 3 car garage? 1 FWD, 1 RWD and 1 AWD/4x4 (PLEASE READ)
Discussion
I know that some people on here hate FWD but to me a FWD hot hatch can be a fantastic thing and I can see the joy/advantages of all drivetrain configurations. So 1 FWD, 1 RWD and 1 AWD/4x4 car in your 3 car garage BUT all the cars have to be from the same country of manufacture. What would you pick?
I have a few different options.
Possibly the coolest combination but the most functionally useless!
Great Britain
FWD

4x4
Defender 90 TD5

RWD
Aston Martin Vantage

Germany could offer a pretty strong combo.
FWD
Has to be a sporty Golf. Torn between mk1 and mk2 GTi 16v, I'll go mk2 16v, as they still look sharp and it's "the one that got away" for me, as a nice one is far too expensive to justify now.

RWD
Has to be a straight 6 BMW

AWD
I could pick the Audi R8 or a multitude of Audi RS models but there's still an aura about the original quattro for me.

But I think that Japan wins by a narrow margin for me.
FWD

Honourable mention to Ford though (are they American or German?), I don't rate their current lineup at all but there aren't many single car manufacturers in history that have produced genuinely great driver's cars in FWD, RWD and AWD/4x4.

I should go mk1 Focus RS for the RS trilogy really but I really fancy owning one of these for some reason and like the Golf GTi 16v, I need to own one of these whilst they're still cheap to buy.

Fwd,
Previous generation Tiguan as I prefer the styling.
Plug in hybrid version. Plug in ticks a few eco boxes.
For occasions when I've got my older kids at home and we need to run around as a family. Just about big enough without being a bus.

Rwd
Corvette C7
Previous generation as I prefer the shape.
American muscle and a great sound.
Love the targa option for the rare weekends with sunshine.

Awd
Yaris GR
Fun daily run around. Perfect size and can have fun without needed to be over 100mph.
In reality the car I'd use the most.

FWD
Golf GTI 7.5

RWD
Porsche Spyder RS

AWD

Pretty much my dream garage. Looking to go Taycan 4S ST to replace our current EV.
Spyder RS because it's incredible they actually did it. GT3 engine + Boxster.
Golf GTI for the daily stuff, set of winters and it's the perfect ski trip car.
