Problem with old Clifford system Concept 300

Hi, I recently bought an 88 930 Porsche that has the above system fitted… I disconnected the battery for a few days whilst working on the old girl and now the alarm seems to be working as normal but has immobilised the two fuel pumps…I’ve got the owners manual for this 24 year old system but it doesn’t tell you how to overcome this issue… I read somewhere that if the sounder integral back up batteries were dead then this could occur…. However right from the word go the sounder never made a squeak at any stage so I presume that they were flat then…. Anyone have any knowledge of this kit please?

You’ll be better off removing it than trying to get it to work reliably.
