In contra to the other thread currently running what current cars do people consider to be pretty or the prettiest.

For me, if we are talking affordable cars I think the Mazda 3 in red is a pretty looking thing. Its lines are smooth and I feel the design is not too fussy.

If we're talking mainstream cars then I think the Renault 5 is well designed. Clever to make it hark back to the original without being a caricature. It looks more or less how I'd think it would look had it remained in production all the time.

Looked at the Renault 5 last week as part of the search for a small electric commuting car. It is an impressive car, looks great inside and out but unfortunately was too tight in the back for our family needs. Currently trying to convince my fashion conscious sister in law to chop her old Mini in for an R5.

I find these failry pleasing on the eye - all the proportions seem right (to me)

As above I'm a fan of the Lotus, R5 and the Alfa. I'm not declaring the Model 3 as the most prettiest and this is probably one for the Unpopular Opinions section but for current mainstream cars I really like the sleek styling......

I really hate the lumps and bumps that the majority of current cars have incorporated into the styling, it's just unnecessary detail to try and appeal to the general public?!

Came here to post the same, lovely looking thing from every angle and sensibly sized for UK roads too.

T.33 Spider for me.

Hard to find pretty in modern cars as they so often end up with aggressive cuts and slashes all over the shop. Its a shame that the modern idea of sporty is angry faced spaceships, I blame the Germans for this trend.

T.33 works for me as it has that soft dainty look that cars of the 60s had.

Ok, so not classically "pretty" but eTron GT is very impressive particularly the rear 3/4. Would have one in a heat beat if I was in the market

This - in this colour - is what sprang to my mind too.

Tbh these days pickings are very slim when it comes to mainstream cars.

I agree.
The sheer size of modern stuff fairly well kills the idea of 'pretty' anyway, but I really can't think of anything that even elegant in today's crop.

I’ll upvote this. If they weren’t more expensive to own than being addicted to a whole smorgasbord of classA illicit pharmaceuticals, I’d be in.

Beautiful things.
