There's a few that make me laugh & I cannot get them out of my head. It seems one Brand is responsible for most of them too lol

This first started when my ex pointed to that estate car in front & it has the chaps name on the boot (Live in Scotland btw) Mr Mc Logan. Then there's the Dogger even the logo looks like a stylised D once you've seen it! & the big one is called the BigCockster or the BigJobber.

I'm sure there are many others!

In terms of literally misreading badges, I consistently read 'Omoda' as 'Skoda'. Both are just big, anonymous urban cars these days.

Not so much of a misread but my inner (and outer!) voice always pronounces a VW Tiguan like Wagwaaaaan.

When I see a Hyundai Tucson I always think 'Tucshop'
Diahatsu Sirion? 'Sirloin'
Suzuki Celerio? 'Celery'

For some reason I read Saxo as Saxto. Less of a problem now.

Another one was triggered by PH. Somebody posted that they read Discovery as Disco Very. Now I can't unsee it whenever I see one smile

There once was a turbo diesel from a European manufacturer, my memory says Fiat, and after the model badge on the back was the variant name of 'turD'.

On the back of another European car, Peugeot this time I think, was 'GRDT' though it looked more like 'GROT' to me.

Years ago Fiat did a vehicle called the Ulysse, or to me the Useless.

The Mazda Um-Bongo was another one I had in my head every time I saw one.

Obviously the VW Toerag, I mean that's actually it's name right ?

Apparently Ford had to change the script on their Orion (a booted Escort) as it read as Onion.

Thanks for clearing up the brand of my neighbours wife's SUV. I've genuinely had no idea what it was until now.

I could never decide between Joke and Puke for the Nissan Juke!

Wasn't the Mazda a Bongo Friendee though?

Some strange choices by Japanese manufacturers - whoever thought a Nissan Fairlady was a good idea!

A colleague thought it was Hyundri, and thst it was a play on words as the garage was at the top of a hill above a river valley.

Was it not a Citroen TRD? Which I think became DTR in the UK.

We bought a new Citroen Saxo once and our daughter proudly announced to the class at school "My mum's got a Sexo"
