Just had a letter through the post from Sentinel Legal - offering to help me with my claim under the FCA's compensation scheme.

Although Sentinel appear to be subject to having been cloned by a dummy company abroad - this letter has come from their offices in Cheltenham

Question is - (and i suspect i know the answer) - scam or not?

It’s not a scam but you don’t need to use them so just bin the letter.

There are template letters you can use on MSE and links to Experian who will check if you’ve had car finance agreements.

There is absolutely no reason to use these firms who will take a nice chunk of anything owed that you could do in 10 minutes.
