So why do we think this happened? Because the launch was no good? Or because he had something to do with the product positioning? All reports seem to suggest all sold out for first 12 months so?

How good 'sold out' is depends on how many are available to order in the first place and how many of those purchases are incentivised to get on the ladder for another model.
