Why was he holding the phone like that? Surely that is the worst thing about it it the video!
On a serious note, it is a silly thing to do. What a shame for the car.
I've seen dumbass kids hold their phone like that, as if they're an alien who picked one up off the floor and had no idea or guidance as to how a phone works, but to see a grown man doing it is a bit weird. On a serious note, it is a silly thing to do. What a shame for the car.

What an absolute throbber.
Bit harsh. Not that I would have attempted it but I expected something like the videos of imbeciles piling into Rufford Ford at 40 mph and waves breaking over the windscreen before floating off down the stream. Air intake must be super low.fflump said:

When he got out he didn t look like the water went past his ankles?
Still, I wouldn t go through an unknown ford!
My opinion is that he was driving too fast. Look at the bow wave - it's probably that that caused the water level to reach the air intake.Still, I wouldn t go through an unknown ford!
But yes, unless you know the depth of the water and where the vehicle's air intake is, you're better off taking an alternative route.
