Hi,

Cinch decided to not provide me with my locking nut key, nor a code for it.

So I'm scrabbling around to find the correct key to take my wheel off.

It's a 2022 Vauxhal Corsa B, so a PSA platform.

Vauxhall are no use. Nor is Cinch so far.

Any suggestions?

There’s eBay Vauxhall Key Matching Service (take/upload a photo), also a Vauxhall dealership should be able to identify the pattern? Should be cheap enough.

Or google locking wheel nut removal in your area. Mobile ones will charge a lot to come out though, easier to visit them.

They’re the work of the devil in any case and have the unnerving knack of seizing when you need to remove them most.

Go to any decent independent tyre shop (and probably not outfits like Kwikfit) and they’ll have them off quick enough. Once off, replace with ordinary wheel bolts.

When I lost the locking socket for my Merc I just gave the dealer the chassis no and they supplied a new one.

For my other car I just had them removed and replaced by normal bolts.
