Donuts on the M25 - A word of warning

A bit dramatic however I didn't really know where to put this and I felt it needed to be noted.
Driving on the M25 over the weekend from junction 20 towards Heathrow I saw a large set of tyre marks I assumed were from someone involved / avoiding an incident however further on there were some more then a large donut where some utter utter idiot had decided to do some donuts followed along a bit later with more tyre marks obviously from drifting.
I assume it was done at night when it's quiet but the thought of driving at night and coming across a car doing this doesn't bear thinking about.
I've seen it on social media happening in the US and sadly it has made its way over here.
Don't assume an empty motorway is without potentially very very fatal idiots.

Tyre marks from a late night road repairs perhaps? Nope, 100% big drifts followed by a donut followed later on by more big drifts.Hard to comprehend really that someone would be that stupid.
As above, HGV s and work machinery doing tight turns etc. A tri axle trailer doing a tight turn makes a donut type tyre mark as it pivots on its centre wheels.
Although I have seen videos of stupid similar stunts so I wouldn’t be suprised.

Yeah I've seen them, definitely not roadworks related. I assumed it was one of those Indian wedding things where they block all of the traffic, start acting like dicks and take a load of photos.
I don't see how else you could do that even at 3am on a Sunday on that section of the road, there's always moving traffic.

Not donuts or drifting but a few years ago I was on the M25 behind a couple of RS4s , an RS6 and an M3. They were spread across all lanes, slowing traffic to a near halt and then going flat out for maybe half a mile at a time. They did it a few times before belting off at the next junction. Hell of a sound but not the greatest idea.

I don't think it's Indian specifically but yes there's loads of videos of this sort of thing on social media. Lots of lambos, G-Wagons etc stopping motorway traffic for a photo shoot before videos doughnuts and burnoutsIs this really an Indian wedding thing?

The difference between heavy machinery scrub type marks, and under power drift and donut marks, are glaringly obvious, even when glanced at speed.Although I have seen videos of stupid similar stunts so I wouldn t be suprised.
