What 80s/90s/00s/10s/20s 2 car garage?
Discussion
Inspired by a trip to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu last weekend, I was inspired by these 2 vehicles and what a thing it would have been to own these 2 vehicles at the same time in the 1980s.

Had I been the age that I am now in the 80s and with the same personal circumstances, the Cosworth would have been my "cool" family car (although it may not still be parked where I left it) and the BMW 325i Cabriolet my fun top down cruiser. That one (ex-Jay Kay) is technically a 1990 model and I actually had a 1990 325i Cabriolet in white with the grey check cloth and cross-spoke alloy wheels about 20 years ago, so I was surprised to see one in the National Motor Museum but I absolutely loved that car.
So in the same vein, what would your 2 car garage have been in each of the above decades that would best fit your current circumstances. Your partner (if you have one) can still have the family car/runabout/"station" car if needs be, so these two cars are purely for your own requirements.
I'm going to stick with a "cool" family car and a sporty coupe convertible so in that vein, I'd go:
90s
Lancia Delta Integrale Evo
R129 SL500 on AMG monoblocks
00s
Subaru Impreza P1
R230 SL55 AMG
10s
Renault Megane 4 RS
Jaguar F-Type R Convertible
20s
Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
Lotus Emira V6 manual
SO what would your 2 car garage be for each of the above decades?

This was my 2 car garage in the 2000`s:
The Lotus Carlton and the Audi RS2

Then the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S and the Audi RS2

Lotus Carlton and Audi RS2 is a pretty sweet "90s" 2 car garage, bonus points for matching colours too! Some overlap there but quite different characters probably? The Lotus Carlton and the Audi RS2

LC was probably a close 2nd for my 90s "family car" pick but I do love a 90s homologation rally car!
80s.
Mercedes W124 Brabus - a 3.6 would do, but a 5 litre would be better!
Ferrari F40.
90s.
Lotus Carlton.
Ferrari 550 Maranello (manual).
00s.
Maserati Quattroporte.
BMW Z4M Coupe just for a dose of reality as I have one.
Lost after that as I've never had, or particularly wanted, anything newer!

I always preferred the 4 Cylinder 16v Coupe to the 20v. Unfortunately, I never got to own either as when they first came out, I couldn’t afford one and latterly I had children (when I could of afforded a Fiat Coupe) and it just wasn’t practical.

It was the cars I would have owned in these decades as opposed to when they were new. The Strada was available until early 88 so the last ones would have been on an E Plate.

Fair. That makes sense. Why the 16v over the 20v? I thought the Coupe being Tipo based was pretty practical really? Many 90s coupes were. I had the Corrado VR6 and I did an airport run with 4 adults plus luggage in that no problem. I've had an R56 MINI as a 2nd car with kids and it was fine and I would say the Corrado was more practical. Sadly in more recent times, I've quite fancied a GT86/GR86/Audi TT but just couldn't make those rear seats work with kids. The Corrado/Fiat Coupe and Calibra/Tomcat for that matter I could have.I always preferred the 4 Cylinder 16v Coupe to the 20v.
