Why can you not have twin engine cars on the road?

As title says. If it is due to scrabbing I thought some of the old 4x4 (Sierra) had that problem anyhow.

You can, can't you? There are plenty of twin bike engined kit cars out there and they're road legal aren't they?

Dubsport's twin engined Golf is road legal I believe.

Yep, theres plenty of twin bike engined cars that are fully legal and got through SVA.

Yes Brabus put two 700cc engines into a Roadster as a project, about a million each for 170 BHP car
