Chipsaway did good work on my metalic blue tvr, that was the maidstone based one, dunno how far his teritory goes upto.
If you want a proper sprayer I can recommend Altered Image Coachworks in strood (01634) 721011 used them a couple of times to sort out very bad scratches and they did a fantastic job, they didn't take the piss on price either, only slightly more then chipsaway charge, but a proper job
I had an initial consultation with Chipsaway today.
I went through the website (www.chipsaway.co.uk) and they farm out the request to the nearest franchise who calls you back. Worked a treat, and a nice chap called the same day (yesterday) and turned up today in his van as we agreed.
He took a look, seemed very professional, was thorough, and most importantly, explained in some depth what would be best to do, and what would not. He didn't try and up-sell anything. He was honest and open.
He's got to mix the pain for my work specially, but took the codes from the manufacturer and is coming back on Monday to do the work.
Can update you then on the actual outcome, but have seen and heard good things - and from my time with the guy today, I'm already quiet confident in them.

First step was to cut out some of the shallow marks and scratches, which was done. Only note is that these need to be waxed a couple of times to build up a potective layer now.
Second was the actual touch ups. Very fine brush job basically. Depending on the size and/or depth of a chip, varying degrees of lacquer would be added to the paint to suit.
Some useful advice, and a very "un pushy" approach. There were a couple of things which could have been made into "full jobs" but he was very straight about these, as opposed to trying to up-sell.
Bottom line - very happy
Professional job, and with a wax, certainly takes the edge off some of the wear and tear of a '99 car. Hope the next owner appreciates it

I have a big ugly chip in a panel on my car less than a month after it was resprayed
and my wife has a nasty dent/scuff on her car too so hopefully can get them both sorted if he'll come as far east as Bromley...

I had a go at a really deep parking ding in my van tonight.
I removed the door card and gained access to the rear of the dent.
Using a "dolly" with a slight convex shape, I taped as panel beating hammer over with a few layers of masking tape so as not to damage the paint and then set about straightening the panel. The dolly was on the inside and I panel beat the dent out from the outside.
I wish I had taken a photo before but I'll take a photo tomorrow of what it looks like now.
There is a little ripple if you look closely but it is nothing like it was before I took the tools to it.
