Hi

Just been talking to someone at blackcircles.com and he said they have a promotion code available to Pistonheads members for 5% off the price, thing is, I can't find it!

Anyone know what it is or where to find it???

Cheers

Oh great, now I find out having been using BlackCircles for years and been a PHer for even longer.

I've spent quite a lot of money with them actually, having run 4 cars for quite a few years (down to 3 now).

Only done 11 miles on them so far. Cannot tell any difference from the conti 2's that they replaced and they were spot in IMO.

Dunno re longevity though.

Just for reference. Conti 3's were £260 odd fitted from Saab, or £215 from my local place. Went for the Toyo's after recommendation from someone on the Saab part of PH.

ps. You can get the Toyo's for 80 quid delivered from Ebay, should be another 10-15 to fit.

I can live with that. Mine were balder than Kojak after an immac based head massage, needed doing sharpish.

I too am after tyres but pretty sure even with 5% of camskil and mytyres are still a little cheaper

Indeed they are.

Camskill are £636 for a set of my four, compared to £678.96 at Black Circles, and even with 5% off it's still more than Camskill.

Hmmm.

I've just had contact from blackcircles about the code for our forum (was 5%, they've now changed the scheme to a fixed amount off, I believe). They were still dearer than mytyres.co.uk even with a 5% discount.

In fact one of our members got the same tyre cheaper at his VW dealer..!

I'm not connected with mytyres.co.uk, but hopefully people will find it useful and good value!

I think I will call in at a few local fitters, rather than just trust the internet to be cheaper.

I think www.quidco.com gets you discount off mytyres if you join up, something to bare in mind too, although I've not used it yet so can't reccomend or discourage the company.
