We had a few pictures to choose from this week but we finally settled on this for your delectation. Taken at the Spa six-hour race, we liked the sense of movement and the battle between classic American muscle and good old British grit.

Its best not to use words like ‘feel’, but it does look as though you’re standing right there at the race, and that appeals to us at PH Towers. Many thanks to Albert Mensinga for this week’s image.

Next week – something completely different. Where the picture goes, no one knows…

Best Mog did about 10 secs more.

The Dutch Corvette is lapping the +8 Morgan and MGB about 1 hour into race.

The Morgan +8 was in the Eau Rouge Trophy held up the MGB for 16 laps (11-27)- every time the MGB outbraked him at the Busstop or La Source the Morgan would just drive past down the next straight and then hold him up through the corners. MGB eventually got past with better run out of Pouhon and was gone by the time they reached Stavelot. When the MGB pitted for first driver change 9 laps later it was 27 secs ahead. MGB was driver was not happy as they weren't in the same race.

MGB came 22nd, Morgan failed to finish.
