So does anyone know of an, erm, *cough* mate who has outrun the police and lived to tell the tale??

Always wonder for each clip those silly programs show how many get away?!?

I've known one person to actually go out on a regular occasions to bait then outrun them with no trouble at all (the same person plenty of officers told me to stay well clear of, so I can only assume why he got away so much).

I got nicked two up on a 250 LC for 95 MPH. I was quite proud biggrin

Bugger. Moved to GG from the P&P. Which presumably means I can't tell you my Police helicopter story. Granted, not so much about running away, more about rolling in on it. Hey ho.

Isn't this the type of topic that would be discussed in the lounge after a few pints.

Are the mods getting an extra apple for the most topics moved in an evening?

I have a slightly crazy friend who rode his motorbike daily for nearly 6 months without any number plate, his reasoning being that he'd be travelling to fast for them to keep up with and if didn't have a plate then they wouldn't be able to track him down afterwards!

Seemed to work, he never got caught!

I'd imagine it's slightly more risky trying to out run them in a car though!

What colour was the LC? White with the Blue bands?

I understand the prize is one of Plotty's Special Iced Biscuits.

Now we're in GG, I do recall chasing a cheeky Vauxhall that blasted past me in a 30 zone in a village as I was dutifully observing the limit in the Griff, once I'd passed the NSL sign. The pair of burly chaps in the Vectra were all over the road, and at one point seemed very amused to be able to use the windscreen washers do give me a bit of a dousing (roof down) in the slower bits through the lanes. Approaching Twyford, however, a red LED sign popped up in the back of the Vectra saying "Police", so I backed off, and poked off at the next turning. Gits.

Same colour as my 350, I had allspeeds, and of course the obligatory Boysen reeds and K&N.

Yamaha paddock jacket, Samba trainers and a Black Bell Star helmet.

Nope, I get to spend about 5 seconds less looking after a teething 5 month old, I suggest you think carefully about how much sleep I am likely to have had recently!
