I heard a story about this dealership, something about not selling a single car, new or used, for three months.

Very sad. frown

I think this is the less hardcore version of the guys that will find any way to get in.

Seems these guys only look at ones which are blatently easy to walk into.

I'd bet they broke in somehow - they deliberately dont mention how they got in, to avoid admitting to breaking and entering.

The 2 10ft smashed windows could of been the route in. Hence the smashed glass on the floor.

Where is your proof...

You would be quite suprised how easy it is to get into pretty much any civilian building without having to force or break your way in... especially buildings like that which have been vacated by people who dont really give two hoots what happens after they leave!

Part of the challenge for these guys is to actually find a way in WITHOUT breaking anything and without getting caught... actually being inside is a byproduct for some.

There's a mate of mine does this getting into derelict/deserted buildings thing - it's a nerdy type of thing and there's a specific word for it. They definitely don't do any damage getting in - that's part of the idea I believe.

Edit: Urbexing.
Edit again: as someone below has correctly guessed.

Urbex? there's a website called 28days later that was dedicated to it before it got shut down. Some interesting stuff.

Has the Exeter dealership gone?!

I was there a year or so ago, looking at a very clean Evo they had taken in as P/X.

Yes it went ages ago. Shame, had alot of history as a great car site. Was the TVR dealership Penninsular (sp?) back in the day.

Used to love going by and looking at the cars..dog and two dicks comes to mind..biggrin

I had a friend at a Bentley dealers, I can tell you those chairs weren't cheap. They were a requirement of the franchise and I'd be surprised if they are still there now.

O/T Are Ribble Valley still going, I moved away a while back and they were due to move into a swish new place at the end of the M65. This would have got them more into L/pool and Manc. I came back a while back and it looked deserted.
