How difficult is it to sell a fking car these days ffs, i'm not talking about the many thousands of time wasting knuckle dragging wrist excercisers who think wasting your time is funny as fk, I'm talking about actually advertising it for sale in the first fking place.

I advertised my 106 rallye on ebay 3 fking days ago, for £12.30 of my English pounds and pence, yet today i log in to be greeted with a message for the arse rapers known as ebay, suggesting that my account has been suspended as i have been accociated with another account, i dont have another account so fk off with ruining my sale and giving me extra hassle that i dont need, will i get fking refund, no, will i badger buggering buggury.

So where too from here i hear you ask, well you would post it on the forum you requent most of your waking/wking/working life wouldn't you, but oh no, once again i cant log in to post a fking advert on here either....

Taking the plunge and spending more money i venture over to autotrader, where i expect to have my pants well and truely pulled down, i do and it hurts, £39.00 worth of hurt. Yet when i get to uploading my pictures of said car, i can't upload the pictures because of autotraders fancy fking picture uploader, which then freezes and fks my whole ad up that i had spent an age typing out.

After all this the woman that wanted to see it tomorrow has pulled out and whilst typing this fking pointless rant out i've had an email saying my payment has not been accepted because my address does not match the one they have on file, so now i'm off to re do it again FOR fk SAKE!!!

FYI on autotrader, the photo's need to be at least a certain size or it won't let you upload them. I didn;t find this out until I'd resized and over written the orignals to a size about 5 pixels smaller than the minimum!! got around it by adding a white border in paint.

might that be the problem with your uploading?

Advert tip #4: Never type your ad text straight into the web page. Always type it out in Word or Notepad so you can retain it in case of 'submit incidents'.

I feel your pain, but FAR more annoying is sellers who leave ads up on cars that have sold. Now I wouldnt mind if I call at 19:00 and he replied, "nah mate, someone took it at 5, I'll update the ad as sold." Normal response seems to be, "Nah, sold it last tuesday". FRAKCING MORON. I spent 5 minutes reading all your bumpf, making sure the car looks OK before calling you.

Should I see a car that looks remotely interesting the most efficient thing to do seems to be - quick 2 second glance. Phone seller, "Still got it?". "Yes". "OK, I'll read your ad properly and call you back in 5".

I'll agree with this, really gets on my tits as well, especially when it was the week before or even 3 weeks before, it really doesn't take 5mins to mark it as sold, however i can't forsee this being a problem i will encounter with my advert, since i cant even mark it for sale yet furious

Rant threads are a pain in the arse and look childish with the inevitable daft rating and running commentary 1 or 2 posts in, it wasn't funny the first time so it won't get any better!

Mclovin, obviously the extortionate £400 insurance quote tipped you over the edge and prompted you to sell the 106!!!

Tbh i was never sure i was going to keep it, it was a px on my GTI, I'm not desputing its a good car, as in terms of what it offers in driving pleasure and thrill is rivaled by no other 1.6 i have ever driven, in short it's a fun car to drive with plenty of poke, i just dont think its me and i can't justify the money A)tied up in it and B) the cost of insuring it, hence my decision to sell, its also incredibly impractical for my needs as i have kids and a german shep.

It said exactly that "associated with this account" which i have no knowledge of, i have sent them an email so we shall see.....

And for the record i've not been shill bidding or anything else, that really pisses me off as well, if you're going to sell something with a price in mind set a reserve ffs or raise the starting bid furious

I'll give you £12.30 for it - no messing about with adverts.
