Anyone won a car from Best of the best?
Discussion
Traveling for the company at the moment so in and around airports in hte UK and worldwide often.
Seems a lot of these Best of the best lotteries everywhere promising you a supercar (Bentley/Ferrari/Audi R8 etc) as a prize to a lottery. There seem to be very few tickets, but the price per ticket is normally around £20 to £50?
Anyone actually win anything from something like this? How do they make money?

I'm sure last time I looked at one of these the amount they made from the tickets was 10 times the cost of the car. But they've obviously got to make money, and you're not going to get the chance to win a supercar for 20quid elsewhere so if you fancy it you should have a pop. Don't think anyone on here will have won one, strikes me as the sort of thing men would enter only for their wives to force them to sell it to make way for the new extension.

They used to limit the number of tickets per draw. You could work out the sums, they made say 50% over what the car was worth but you knew your odds of winning.
Now they allow seemingly unlimited tickets per draw, so you could be against 5 people, you could be against 500,000. I stopped playing when they switched to this unlimited system.
They also keep emailing me to say i was second closest in a draw i made years ago and I can have some money off if I play again. Thanks for reminding me just how close I was to a 100k car. w
