Had my 996 for a few years now and love it to bits.
I'd like to upgrade this year and was wondering what are my options are for "leasing", if that is the correct term?

Id like to get either a turbo or GT3 and would be looking at a car Value of about £50-60k, but rather than buying an downing, I liek the odea of "hiring" or "leasing one.

Does anyone have any experience of this and any advice on who to use, etc?

Cheers
PNB

Unless you put it onto a guaranteed future value or a contract hire (unlikely at that age of car) you will have to take a residual gamble - as long as you remember that you'll be okay.

Buy the right spec and colour too.

Look at the Sunday Times driving section classifieds you can lease pretty much anything from a Cooper to a Phantom.

Will this be for business use ?

You will find that Contract Hire and Finance Lease is for business users only but will offer significant tax benefits (dependent on CO2 emissions) providing you do actual make the profit in the first place!

If it's for you as an individual, a PCP (personal contract plan) would be a good idea as suggested above as this will take any potential resale issues out of the equation at the end of the contract.

Lazy

It IS possible for private individuals to Contract Hire cars but the market is shrinking. Private Contract hire (PCH) has been available alongside PCP for years.

Yeah, I just never thought it made sense, which I suppose is partly the reason the market is shrinking.
