After seeing that unregisted 1989 Turbo LE in the Porsche Post this month, I was quite shocked to see this unregistered Jaguar XJ220 in this months Evo.

As much as I love the Porsche, i'd have this over the 911 any day.
Now, where did I leave that £170k...?

I'd love to buy it but like the 911 I wouldn't want to register it for fear of knocking off 30% of it's value straight away therefore just don't see the point (and the fact I don't have £170,000!).

There's something about those wheels on this car that are just sooooo cloud9 I can't think of another car that could pull those wheels off.

wasn't there some guy who owned a carpet store in Wale's somewhere who bought one as an investment and had a separate building boxed onto the side of his warehouse to store it.

They found it again when knocking it down???... i cant remember where i read it

Was looking at this car yesterday whilst at Loughran's inspecting another car, absolutley stunning in the metal and no doubt performance wise a bit of a bargain considering the current value of most other 220(ok ish)mph toys

Surely the same Jag:

When I was cycling past the Jaguar dealership in Aberdeen I thought I saw one sitting in the window and decided to have a quick look. It was one, so went in and talked to one of the salesmen. He said it was in for a few days getting its service. It had belonged to the owner of the company who made the carpets for the XJ220, and he had hidden it away. When the company went bankrupt a wall was knocked down and they found it there. The person who owns it now bought it when it was sold then, and has never driven it. It's only done miles for the servicing and is still unregistered. Stored in a bubble the rest of the time. Have pics if anyone wants some.

I generally avoid commenting on the abuse of apostrophes, but that has just resulted in my keyboard and screen being peppered with soggy lumps of partially chewed sandwich rofl

I wasn't going to say anything, but since the cat is out of the bag, that did make me LOL.

Ford Transit?

I wondered a few days ago how many of these are left unregistered.

God the interior is so bland and dated....really really overrated for me. So many other cars I'd prefer for that sort of cash.
