Has a flash car actually done the trick with the ladies for you? Has your motor actually made the difference between a peck on the cheek and getting your nuts wet? Its a bit of a cliche but I cant believe it actually happens?

I have often wondered how a car helps you pull a bird. Unless you are curb crawling I really can't see how it would help confused

the TVR - no, women hate it, never get a second look.

the BMW - yes, amazingly, no idea why or how but some random tried to pull me with the "nice car" etc and failed because I am married

My ex always used to say that she ended up horny after a journey, something I put down to the sports suspension transmitting more vibrations from the road.

About two years ago I was on a dating site and some guy had obviously seen me driving in my car. I started to get pestered with the "you will have to come down and give me a run in your car" / "when can I get a shot in your car" emails. rolleyes So women are not the only ones who do this I'm afraid.

Next date I go on I will be taking the childminding car and scare the bejesus out of him. rofl

I managed to pull with my Evo 4! For some reason birds used to love it!

Had my phone number across the back when it was up for sale that also helped! Had loads of text's from women who had seen me in the car!!

Best one though was when my brother borrowed it, had a text from some chick following the car, she told me what she was driving and all i remember sending back was "i'm sitting on the sofa! Here's my bro's number ..." He dated her for about a year!

I bought a bmw over 10yrs ago when I was 21 - my aunty (who is a bit rough) said 'I hear you have bought a clit car'
'what's a clit car'? (assuming she meant is was a bird puller..)
her response 'cos every tw*t drives one!

but no to the question, crappy car has pulled better

How strange! Evo's arent good looking (and neither are their drivers by the looks of it) so she must just enjoy the ride winkwink

Depends on the car.
Used to drive a Turbo Esprit (Guigario). I was suddenly very popular with girls that already knew me, but never got a second glance from any strangers.
My three wheeler is a different prospect altogether. I am always getting waves and comments from the ladies. "Nice car" and "Can I have a ride" are the most usual.
I'm a married man though, so I have to politely decline.

So from my experience, you need something, cute, unusual and racy looking. You should avoid anything obviously masculine, vulgar or an obvious display of wealth without taste (sadly the 911, the Lambo Murci & Gayboy fall into this category).

From what the wife tells me an R8 would be an excellent chick magnate.

I used to have one of these

I took a girl out on a 1st date in it, I had just got it and was having trouble with the gears so there were lots grinding and crunching noises, that girl is now my wife and she has told me she was impressed with my "funny little car", so it can work.
