A bit of a long shot I know, but has anyone had any experience of this? We need a new quad bike for the farm and there's a couple we're looking at on ebay, being sold by private sellers.

However, rather than hire a trailer and go and collect it from hundreds of miles away, I was wondering if anybody knew of a company which would go and collect it for us from the seller, then put it on a pallet/in a crate and deliver it to our house? Some specialist quad dealers appear to offer such a service, but I have no idea which companies they use.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers guys! I Googled all sorts of things like 'pallet shipping' and 'crate shipping', but didn't have the sense to search for 'motorcycle delivery'.

Seems there's plenty of companies about and they go and collect it for you in the back of a van and bring it to your house for around £120...which is cheaper than it would cost me in petrol and trailer hire.

Anyone have any personal recommendations?
