Bloody Bus

Got stuck behind a bus today driving through Glasgow that blocked the road because he refused to enter the bus stop made for him. Im sorry but what the fk! Its there so that you pull into it, so that you dont block the whole bloody street. Im sure the bus driver would have been peeved if i was in his bus lane though. Idiot.

Happens around here as well. They make them a bus lane, but as soon as a bus stops the ones behind move around blocking that lane as well

Was there vehicles parked on, or near the bus stop? This could be the reason, as if he'd pulled right in so as to be at an angle he'd find it difficult to see behind when pulling away (if he uses the mirror) or tail swipe the parked car he'd pulled around.

I make a point of letting buses out if they're indicating. It's only gonna go 10 yards down the road before another stop anyway.

If they're in a lane with a solid white line, surely they are not allowed to move out and block the normal lane as well? Buses don't have an exemption from the solid white line rule do they?

Me too.

Bus drivers have to put up with relentless st from other motorists who think that being stuck behind a bus is some sort of personal failure. I always let them out and - here's the amazing bit - it makes absolutely no difference to my journey!

The difference in the road manners between Glasgow and Edinburgh bus drivers is like night and day.

At least you get a dedicated bus stop, down here that Ken Livingtt made it TFL's policy to fill in/pave over the bus stop and make it stop in the road to cause more congestion the tosser.

glasgwegian bus drivers are pretty much all neds themselves in my experience, grumpy idiots who like pissing off other road users. They also grunt at you when you ask them a question and theyre always frigging late or just dont bother turning up. tts.

The dhead had more than enough space to get parked up next to the pavement. So in this case i think he was just being a big wizard cuff!

Im the same, if i see a bus wanting out i will let them out as im a great beliver in karma.
