Need some advice please guys.

In a nut shell i have found a car in my village that is going cheap as chips. MOT Taxed etc. All i want to do i buy it and sell it straight away as i no i could make £500 off it.

Here is my problem

I need the cash i have to spend to buy the car back within 3 weeks as i need it for something else. So need a quick turn around. The risk of not selling it in that time is one im willing to take.

My question is how do you go about the log book ?

Dont really wanna fill it in for me as the owner will take to long to get it back plus have another owner on it when its not really if you no what i mean. If im not on the log book surely this would put people off buying it.

How do i get around this problem ? Any ideas or can people say how they go about things

Apply to be a trader, as that is effectively what you are doing.
To whom?

If you are friendly with the seller just ask for the whole V5 logbook, if he will not play game just tell the new buyer you are waiting for the V5 from DVLA.

Simple as that.

Tell the DVLA, Inland Revenue, and take out a traders insurance policy too I would have thought.

Download a free spell checker too, then people won't think the advert originates in Africa.

What you are doing is flipping, which is little less than trading.
I'd personally get an overdraft to cover the amount incase you need it, put it your name, and sell it under the pretense that it wasn't suitable for your needs once you have the logbook back.
