Of course there might be questions about the energy requirement to create the hydrogen for the hydrosilane. Not that that has stopped advocates of the "zero emmission fuel cell car" from trumpeting it.

Does burning methanol produce CO2?

One of James May's programmes covered this last year - well the process was to turn CO2 into petrol. They even used a solar furnace so the process was FREE!!!
