Old car mags - worth anything to anyone?

I have several hundred car mags from the last ten years, I've got to get rid of them as I don't have the space for them. I've had clearouts before - I've been an Autocar buyer for over 10 years, and an Evo subscriber for much of that time. Previous clearouts have spared anything TVR or Fast Ford related.

I'd rather give them away to a good home, and don't want the hassle of selling them. Any suggestions?

I have someone coming on Friday night to take my 658 magazine collection off me - I managed to agree a crate of beer as the price

I have tried to sell some in the past to no avail - just check eBay, not a lot of them sell regularly.

They're going to get recycled I think.

I've previously felt really sentimental about them - hence keeping all the TVR and fast Ford stuff. Life's too short to re-read old car mags though, and if I ever buy another TVR or fast Ford, would I really be that bothered about having all the relevant press articles when they were new? Doubtful...

It's a good point. I never throw out old car mags, but the only ones I would make a real effort to keep are owners club mags and Practical Performance Car as I have them all except the first 3 or 4. Stupid thing is, though, I would have to spend hours searching for a specific article not knowing where it is. Would be easier to search on the net and probably more productive!

I have about 4 years worth of Auto Expresses, 2 or 3 years of Used Car Buyer - can't imagine anybody wanting them!

Chances are someone else will have them in any event
