Todays clever / dumb balance...

On the clever side, people using their hazards to warn those behind of a hazardously slow rolling car that must have just conked out in the inside lane on the motorway. Good sensible heads up and a forgotten gesture it seems these days.
And to restore the balance to neutral or indeed back to stupidity some prat in a VW Passat taking no notice of the slowing traffic, hazards and cars indicating to move lane and blasting down the outside lane with no regard for anyone. At well over 90MPH. With a spacesaver on the rear wheel....
No doubt Passat boy will blame everyone else when he has a blowout and causes a motorway closure because of his utter stupidity.
Spacesaver. 90MPH. Busy motorway. Are people really that thick...

Its most definately not his car, what does it matter to him.
It'll matter to him when it blows out and he kills someone else, tit.
Hopefully this means somebody else has been extra clever today. 
I spent the best part of 30 minutes adjusting the headlights on the car today (throwing far too much light off to the right into oncoming traffic). Still didn't look right, so I had a closer look and discovered that the reason it was happening was because the garage hadn't fitted the bulbs properly, which took me 2 minutes to correct. But of course I then had to spend another 30 minutes adjusting them back to their original settings. Over 1 hour wasted when it could've taken 2 minutes. The moral of the story is, always check the simplest thing first.
And to top it off, tonight the bulb blew

I am still wating for the clever, but, this morning, about two miles of road were blocked off, body covered by tarp by this:

Police were still running forensics and the body was covered by a tarp in situ at 7:50am as I attempted to get to my office. Incident happened at 2:20pm. For those that don't know, bars close in Florida at 2:00. I am jumping to the assumption that the hit and run driver ran off because he didn't want to face criminal manslaughter charges and was probably WAY over the legal limit.
Well, the police found him anyway, so I guess that is the clever.
Be careful out there. (especially you biker PHers)

Slightly OT, my its late and my mind is wandering.. my old pug 406 (02 reg IIRC) used to switch on the hazard lights automatically under hard braking. Quite a neat feature, unless you're out for a hoon and have to keep switching them off
