There was a survey done last week or so which showed that hardly anyone knows truth of what is going to happen - assumption is 10,61. That is proven by a qucik google search, including registration suppliers!

The only one I can find with correct answer is autotrader. In 2010, plates will be 10 and 61, in 2020 they will be 20 and 71.

OK, apologies if I was wrong. I read in last couple of weeks that numbers were not going to be what everyone was expecting (I can normally add 1+1 smile)

Autotrader seems to have picked this up as well, but if DVLA says different, they should know, hopefully!

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/CARS/owning/registrati...
From Autotrader: "September 2001 = 51, March 2002 = 02, September 2002 = 52, etc. In 2010, the numbers are 10 and 61, in 2020 they are 20 and 71, and so on."

To be fair to footsoldier, I think he just genuinely got it wrong (despite his assurance he wasn't wink), however it happens to all of us from time to time and he's put his hands up so fair play.

However, I'm willing to be proved wrong if he wants to post a pic of himself and he really is a baboon with arses instead of eyes.... biggrin
